Morning all, I've received a message from my Insurance Broker with a notice from the Federal Court of Australia regarding a class action against Insurance Australia Limited (IAL) in relation to whether some of the IAL's insurance policies pay out for business interruption losses during the COVID-19 pandemic. I actually hold one of these policies (under the CGU brand). The notice has been issued to enable the Court to determine how many class members may want to participate in the class action. I'm interested to know it anyone else has been advised of this. I'm in two minds about this as I've put the whole COVID mess behind me and reluctant to raise it all again and of course class actions go on for years.
Would be interested in your input.
Thanks
Sue
