** Winner announced: ATAS 2024 Social Media Showcase **

We wish to thank all of our ATAS members who participated in our ATAS 2024 social media showcase.  We are thrilled to see the genuine support our members have for ATIA and ATAS and how they have shown this such creative and authentic ways.

We are pleased to announce Andrew Sullivan, Director at The Don't Forget Travel Group, as the winner of the #ATAS24 social-media-showcase competition.  As the winner, Andrew will be heading to Singapore, flying ATIA's strategic partner and NTIA major sponsor, Singapore Airlines (SIA).

Andrew's LinkedIn post made a lasting impression, standing out with a creative video highlighting the value of being ATAS-accredited and the importance of consumers dealing with an ATAS-accredited agent.  He takes his network on his travels, highlighting the many benefits of ATAS, including not just being recognised as a financially sound travel agency but also an agency with the protections in place to allow travellers to have the best experiences possible.  As summed up so well by Andrew, ATAS is about having the backs of Aussie travellers, no matter where they are in the world.  View his winning post here.

    Special mentions
ATIA would also like to recognise the following outstanding entries with special mentions:

    • Simone Lewis (On The Road Travel Group): Simone's quirky LinkedIn post, showcasing her ATAS accreditation on printed T-shirts, captured the value of ATAS. That is, bringing assurance to travellers that their travel agents are committed to going above and beyond to bring them highquality services. View her post here.

    • Kate Collins and Jackie Male (Angas Travel): Their Instagram post reinforced that agents who are ATAS accredited meet the highest industry standards, giving clients exceptional service and the reassurance they are being looked after. Check out their post here.

    • Hastwell Travel and Cruise: Their superhero-themed Instagram entry was fun and colourful in highlighting the superpowers that ATAS accreditation brings to the travel industry. Superpowers such as reassuring travellers with the professionalism and expertise that can save them time and money. View the post here.

    • Travel with a Cause: This post uniquely reinforced the importance of ATAS accreditation, with a cute cameo from their travel dog, Toby, who explains that ATAS accreditation is like "our agency's badge of honour, showing we meet top-notch standards in the travel biz." See their entry here.

We again congratulate Andrew and all of our special mentions for capturing the very essence of ATAS and for showing their support of ATIA and ATAS.
