ATAS Industry Bulletin – Compliance Activities for July 2024
This bulletin serves as the official record of compliance activities and decisions rendered by ATAS for the month of July 2024.
The following summary details actions taken in accordance with the ATAS Charter & our purpose to uphold the integrity of the accreditation process and to ensure strict adherence to ATAS standards.
New Memberships
The ATAS accreditation has been granted to the following entities:
· Bellarine-travel
· Jetsetter-travel
· Living Blue Travel Co,
· Clare Dos Santos Travel
· Phillip Basham Travel,
· Cruising Adventures
· Rediscover Travel Group
· Sonia Jones Travel
· A business that has successfully regained accreditation
Monitoring Agreements
Currently, 25 members have been placed under monitoring agreements. These members are obligated to provide quarterly financial and operational disclosures.
Issuance of Show Cause Notices
Show Cause Notices have been formally issued to 11 members. These notices require the recipients to submit a satisfactory response within 14 days, addressing the specific compliance concerns raised. Failure to do so may result in further action, including but not limited to the revocation of accreditation.
Revocation and Voluntary Withdrawal of Accreditation
Accreditation has been formally revoked for 6 businesses. Additionally, 4 businesses have opted to withdraw their participation from the accreditation scheme voluntarily.
